V-berth

A V-berth is the triangular sleeping bunk located at the bow of a yacht, named for its distinctive V-shaped configuration that fits the narrower forward section. Charter guests encounter V-berths when reviewing cabin layouts, as they're usually the smallest and most snug berths aboard. This berth can feel cramped and may experience more motion in rough seas due to its forward position, making it less desirable for guests prone to seasickness.
