Fin keel

A fin keel is a flat, blade-shaped keel that extends below the hull, providing hydrodynamic lift to counter sideways drift and enable sailing to windward. Charter guests encounter this specification when selecting boats, as it affects draft (how much water the boat requires) and overall sailing performance.
