Onboard Chef
A professional cook employed aboard a chartered yacht to prepare meals for guests. This role is exclusive to crewed charters, where the chef works with the crew to manage provisions, accommodate dietary preferences, and maintain meal schedules. The chef plans menus, coordinates provisioning (often through dedicated services), handles all galley operations, and prepares breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The chef's salary is included in the daily crewed charter rate. Guests communicate dietary requirements and food allergies at check-in.
