Shoulder season is the period between high season and low season in yacht chartering, typically spring and autumn. Guests encounter it when browsing charter dates and prices - shoulder season offers a middle ground between peak-season premiums and low-season scarcity. It's when many destinations still have good weather but have fewer bookings, often resulting in competitive pricing, shorter availability windows, and moderate fleet utilization.
