Outboard Motor (Tender)

An outboard motor is an external combustion engine mounted on the stern of a tender (small boat) to propel it. During a charter, you'll use the tender with its outboard motor to reach the shore, explore anchorages, or visit nearby islands when the main yacht is moored. Guests typically need basic familiarity with starting the motor, fueling it, and tilting it out of the water when not in use. The skipper or crew usually handles operation, though some charters allow guests to operate it independently.
